Steam Turbine Task Leader

A Snapshot of Your Day

Lead our ambitious Newcastle team as Task Leader and ensure optimum performance and reliability of the Siemens Energy steam-turbine fleet. You will analyse complex turbine data, develop technical recommendations and guide maintenance strategies that keep power plants running efficiently. You coordinate outage planning, manage projects at our CAPW service facility and proactively communicate with customers and colleagues. Your Responsibilities

• Conduct technical investigations and provide recommendations for Siemens Energy steam turbines
• Plan and lead overhauls in close cooperation with internal teams and customers
• Proactively solve customer issues and build relationships of trust
• Document findings and drive continuous process improvement
• Initiate innovative approaches that support the energy transition

What You Bring

• Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or comparable professional experience
• Sound application of mechanical principles to large rotating machinery
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with steam or generator turbines advantageous
• High computer literacy (MS Office); SAP knowledge desirable
